I love making lists. There’s just something so satisfying about checking an item off—Accomplished! Yay! Lists help me stay productive and give me hope that I can finish what I start.
Except…my yearly New Year’s Resolution list.
I just can’t seem to master that one.
Then, my lovely son-in-law told me about a New Year’s Resolution bingo card. Now that sounded fun! So, I thought, why not give it a try?
Using the BINGO letters, I created my own categories:
Under each category, I brainstormed five specific goals—things I could (and wanted to) accomplish this year. No vague “try to exercise more” goals here. I made them achievable so I wouldn’t abandon them halfway through January.
And here’s the kicker: to stay motivated, I decided to reward myself every time I completed “five in a row.”
The prizes? Treats like a massage, spending a whole day reading, getting a facial, or taking a fun day trip—things I rarely let myself enjoy.
I can’t wait to dive in!
How about you? What are you excited to do this year? Whatever it is, don’t forget to reward yourself when you achieve it. We all deserve a little celebration!

P.S. One square on my bingo card might need some explanation: death cleaning. Don’t worry, I’m not planning to kick the bucket anytime soon! Death cleaning is about decluttering and organizing your home now to make things easier for your loved ones later. It’s surprisingly satisfying—and not as morbid as it sounds!
