Old Long Snout was in the dream that I remembered. I hadn’t thought about my invisible pig since I was a child, but somehow he was still alive in my memories, in my dreams.
Old Long Snout helped me through some tough times as a child. I never felt alone with him by my side. I thought, “Kids need to know that there are lots of ways to cope when you’re lonely, such as having imaginary friends.” Then… Ding! Ding! Ding! I knew I had to write about my invisible friend, “Old Long Snout.”
